Welcome to the Inspire, Create, Share blog hop!  The theme this month is Punch Me Out.   I am sure you have figured out that we are all about punches this month.  I chose to focus on the Gift Bow Builder punch which can be bundled (save 10% when you bundle) with the Gift Wrapped stamp set.

I used the Gift Bow punch in 2 different ways on my card.  Can you see the two ways I used it?  The easiest one to identify is the pretty bow on the top of the frame and the slightly sneakier one is the angel's wings.  The angel is attached to a Gold Hoop and can be untied from the card to be used as an ornament.

Here are the pieces you will need (a full list of all the items is posted at the bottom of this post).

Layering Ovals-smallest oval die

• 2 Whisper White
• 1 Plush Poinsettia Specialty paper

Layering Circles-smallest circle die

• 1 crumb cake (main sample uses Petal Pink)
• 1/2 Basic Black circle (bangs)

Layering Circles-#2 circle die (#1 being the smallest die)

•  2 Basic Black

Gift Bow punch

• 1 Plush Poinsettia Specialty paper

• Create bangs from the Basic Black 1/2 circle 
• Trim the 2 Basic Black circles.  This is the hair length
• Cut the vellum bow in half

• Cut a  gold circle (Brushed Metallic CS)  using the smallest Layering Circles die 
• Use the "O" from the Playful Alphabet dies and cut a circle in the middle.  A 3/4" circle punch will also work.
• Fold the circle in half

• Attach bangs to the face

• Adhere half of the halo to the back of the circle

• Use a Stampin' Dimensional to attach the hair to the back of the circle.  Use just one Dimensional and position it in the middle of the circle

• Adhere the 2 bow pieces (Plush Poinsettia paper) to the oval (Plush Poinsettia paper)

• Attach the wings and oval with a Glue Dot to the angel's hair

• Cover the angel's body with a Whisper White oval

• Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to attach the angel to the Gold Hoops.  Take care to only apply the tape to the body and hair of the angel.

• Cover up the body and hair with the remaining pieces so the back looks finished.
• Add a Real Red heart to your angel
• Cut out two of the #3 Stitched Nested Labels (#1 being the smallest)
• Emboss the sentiment in Gold and attach a heart to the front.
• Adhere the label to the Gold Hoop using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Use the remaining label to cover the back and hide the dimensionals.
• Attach the gold cord (Forever Greenery Trim) to the hoop.   I found this cord separates easily.  I tied a small knot at each end of the cord to prevent if from unraveling.

The card base is 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2".  The frame is the largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  The center cut out is the Stitched Rectangle that measures 1-7/8" x  3-1/8".  The center of the frame is the Gold Brushed Metallic cardstock (same as the halo).  When attaching the frame to the card front do not apply any adhesive to the top center of the frame.  This will allow you to be able to remove the ornament from the card.  

The stamped bow was colored using Real Red Stampin' Blends.  When attaching the bow make sure it doesn't interfere with the removal of the ornament.
