Wild Roses
December 31, 2020
The Create with Connie and Mary Challenge took last week off and we are now back with a new challenge.
This week it is a fun color challenge.
I thought it was the perfect time to play with the beautiful Wild Roses background stamp and the new Blending Brushes, both in the new 2021 Jan-June Mini Catalog.
The Wild Roses background stamp is a big background stamp. Background stamps are offered in both Cling Mount and Wood Mount. If you decide to get it in Cling Mount you can use clear Block F or it is a great one to use with the Stamparatus.
I inked the stamp in Night of Navy ink. I used the Blending brushes to apply the Balmy Blue and Highland Heather ink. Blending using the Blending brushes is very smooth and softer than blending using sponges. The look is different and I like them both. If you are going for a lighter, softer look than you will love the Blending Brushes.
Night of Navy CS card base 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2"
Highland Heather CS 4" x 5-1/4"
Whisper White CS 3-3/4" x 5-1/8" cut into three 1-1/4" x 5-1/8" panels

This is a simpler version of the card. The Wild Roses is not cut into panels
