Just a few more days until the 2023 Sale-A-Bration and 2023 January -April Mini Catalogs go live.  I am excited for January 5th.  I am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful things you will make with the new products.

I think the Adorable Owls stamp set will be a big hit.  I have been having so much fun playing with the set and think you will too.  Today’s card also uses the Country Gingham DSP,  the beautiful Balmy Blue and White Variegated Ribbon.  Both of these products are in the January-April Mini Catalog and I think both of these are must haves.  The ribbon is so pretty and lovely to work with.  I want it in many more colors, please.

• The card base is 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 5-1/2”.  The front edge was cut using the Scalloped Contour dies.
• The Balmy Blue CS layer measures 4” x 4” and the Balmy Blue Country Gingham DSP measures 3-3/4” x 3-3/4”.
• Wrap the ribbon around the bottom  edge of the DSP/Balmy Blue CS and tie a bow.  Attach a few Mini Glue Dots under the ribbon to secure it in place.
• The birthday owl is stamped (Tuxedo Black Memento Ink) on a Basic White circle (Layering Circles #5 circle die, #1 being the smallest circle).   Part of the party hat is cut off, stamp another hat on a scrap piece of paper and fussy cut it.
• Layer the circle on a Balmy Blue scalloped circle (Layering Circles #5 scalloped circle die, #1 being the smallest scalloped circle die).
• Color the owl and party using Smoky Slate, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
• Adhere the party hat over the partially stamped hat.
• Use Stampin’ DImensionals and attach the owl to the front of the card.
• The Balmy Blue CS layer inside of the card measures 4” x 5-1/4” and the Basic White layer measures 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”.
• Stamp the sentiment from the Go-To Greetings set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
• Stamp the cake from the This Birthday Piggy stamp set using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White CS.  Color the cake using Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends.  
• Fussy cut the cake out and attach it next to the sentiment.
