Around the World on Wednesday...CAS(e) a Team Member Tag!
July 12, 2023
Welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday blog hop! We are a group of international Stampin' Up!® demonstrators who have gathered together for a monthly blog hop. The blog hop goes live on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
This month we have a very fun theme...we are CASEing another Around the World on Wednesday team member and we are also teaming up with an AWOW Team member. I was teamed up with Rochelle Laird-Smith! Rochelle is from Australia. We were able to Zoom together and figure out who we were going to CASE. So much fun! It was such a treat to connect with Rochelle. We decided to CASE the mighty leader of the Around the World on Wednesday blog hop, Angie Mckenzie! We looked at her blog, Nature's INKspirations and picked out a project that would serve as our inspiration and CASE. Let me tell you that it wasn't easy. Angie is a very talented stamper and her blog is indeed filled with INKspiration.
This is the card from Angie's blog we chose as inspiration. We also agreed to use the color Lemon Lolly in both of our cards.
I followed the general layout of Angie's card. Instead of leaves I used the flowers and leaves from the Paper Florist dies. I also used the Gorgeously Made dies for the sentiment and the border just like Angie's original card. The colors I used: Gorgeous Grape, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly, Basic Black, and Granny Apple Green. The sentiment is from the Gorgeously Made stamp set.
Inside of the card I added another Gorgeously Made border and a Lemon Lolly flower.
What a wonderful challenge! Thank you to both Angie and Rochelle for making this such a fun experience and challenge!
Now it is time for you to hop on over to see what the talented Chris Smith created.
Be sure to check out the rest of the hop to see what the rest of the team created for this unique and fun blog hop!
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the hop!
Ooh I LOVE your flower arrangement Sharon and the colours you have chosen. Beautiful card. It's been a lovely way to get to know you through this challenge x

Oh what a gorgeously exuberant card Sharon. Fabulous case ... It is quite funny that not only did Chris Smith and I decide to CASE Angie, but we chose exactly the same card!!! So four fabulous CASE's of Angie's card on this hop and they are all such different cards! :) xx

Sharon, this is fabulous! I love that you preserved the layout of the original. The switch up of colour and stamp set really made it your own. The dies look amazing and I can't wait to crack mine open. :-)
