2024-25 Annual Catalog

Week in Review

Time to look back on the projects shared during this past week.  Most of the projects featured the Textured Notes bundle, part of the Botanical Textures Suite Collection.   These projects were posted here and on my Facebook page.

TexturedNotes_WovenTextures

Tuesday was the 25th of the month which means it was time for a Christmas card.  In an attempt to be better prepared to send out Christmas cards I am posting a Christmas card on the 24th or 25th of every month.  Hopefully this will give me a head start on my cards.

Wildflower Designs and Textured Notes

Paired up the Wildly Flowering DSP and the Wildflower Designs bundle with the Textured Notes stamp set.  Here I used Moody Mauve Stampin' Blends to color the flower.  This is a good reminder that the 2023-2025 In Colors will soon be retiring which includes Moody Mauve.  I also used the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing folder.  The Neutral Matte Dots were also used to embellish this card.

ThoughtfulWishes_Appreciation

This was made for the Create with Stamping Friends challenge.  It is a color challenge-Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, and Summer Splash.  You can read more about this card HERE.

TexturedNotes_LittleNote

Here's an easy fun fold that shows off 3 different designs of DSP.  Used the Textured Notes bundle Neutral Matte Dots, and Baker's Twine Essential Pack.

TexturedNotes_LittleNotes_2

The card base is 5-1/2" x  11" scored at 3-1/4" & 7-1/2".

Layers of Beauty

It is Thursday and time for a new Creating with Stamping Friends challenge.  This week we have a color challenge.

866

I love these colors but I wasn't quite sure how to use them so I turned to my go-to bundle- Layers of Beauty.   The Layers of Beauty bundle includes a stamp set, masks, and dies.

LayersOfBeauty_Colors

The image was inked in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Using a Blending Brush and Melon Mambo ink I colored the first mask.  I made sure the color was quite light by first brushing off some of the ink on a scrap piece of paper.  You can see that the there is a slight variation in the light color on the petals, which adds to the effect.  The second mask I did not brush off the ink very much before applying the Melon Mambo ink.  This color is more of a true Melon Mambo.  The third mask colored in the small flower centers and the darker color on the roses.  Here i used the Summer Splash ink.  The 4th and 5th masks colored in the leaves in with Lemon Lime Twist ink.

The sentiment is from the Layers of Beauty set on a Nested Essentials banner.  There are 2024-26 In Color Shimmer Gems on the banner and scattered around the card.  The ribbon is a White 1/2" Woven ribbon (OLE-Online Exclusive).

The card base is Basic White CS.  The next layer is Lemon Lime Twist and the last layer is Summer Splash CS that has been embossed using the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder (OLE-Online Exclusive).

Crafting With You & the Floral & Gingham Vellum

It is Thursday and time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge.  This week it is a sketch challenge and I love this sketch!

863

Isn't it a good sketch?  I am keeping this one to definitely use again.  It was hard for me to decide what to use for this sketch.  There are so many beautiful papers that would look good.  I may just have to make a few more to share later.

CraftingWithYou_FloralGinghamVellum

I decided on the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty DSP.  The vellum is so pretty and it doesn't get much better than gingham and florals except maybe stripes and florals.

  • Pool Party CS card base 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"
  • Daffodil Delight CS 4" x 5-1/4"
  • Basic White CS 3-3/4" x 5"
  • Gingham Vellum 2 @ 1-3/4" x  2-3/8"
  • Floral Vellum 2 @ 1-3/4" x 2-3/8"
  • Daffodil Delight CS cut with the Spotlight on Nature die
  • Cut out the middle of the Spotlight on Nature die with a Stylish Shapes die.
  • Basic White CS cut using the Stylish Shape die.
  • Ink the sentiment from the Crafting with You set in Old Olive ink.
  • Die cut flowers and leaves from the vellum using the Delightful Wishes dies.
  • Rhinestone centers for the flowers

CraftingWithYou_FloralGinghamVellum_In

  • Basic White CS 4" x 5-1/4"
  • Gingham Vellum strip 3/4" x 5-1/4"
  • Flower die cut from the vellum

CraftingWithYou_Floral&Gingham_Close

Love this look of the Spotlight on Nature die and the stitching from the Stylish Shapes die.

DIY Calendar Blog Hop...April

Welcome to the DIY Calendar Blog Hop.  On the first of every month we get together and share our calendar page for the month.  The calendar template was created by Anne aka the Maui Stamper. If you are interested in purchasing the calendar template please contact Anne.

MakeADiff_CalBlogHop

It is officially Spring!  The flowers are starting to bloom, the birds are chirping and it is a glorious time of the year.  I used the flowers from the Cutest Cows set.  I love these simple and cute blooms.  I used Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to color the flowers.  I attached the little bird from the Sending Love with a little strip of Window Sheet.  I hope it looks like he is flying by.

The sentiment is from the Thankful Garden set.  Sometimes in this busy, overwhelming world we can lose sight of how we do make a difference.  Every act of kindness makes a difference and you make a difference.

Be sure to check out all the stops on the hop!

Thank you for stopping by and remember you make a difference.

Merriest Trees Love & Joy

It is the 25th of the month and time for another Christmas card.   In an attempt to have a less stressful December I am posting a Christmas card on the 24th or 25th of the month.   My plan is to also make a few more cards while I have the supplies out.  This will hopefully translate to a good head start on my Christmas cards.  This is the first time I have come up with a real plan regarding my Christmas cards.  The usual plan is I say I will start earlier which results in no action until the last minute.

MerriestTrees_love&joy

The only flaw in my plan is that I do not have very many Christmas sets that are still available for purchase.  Hopefully soon there will be some new stamp sets.

MerriestTrees_love&joy_In

  • Basic White CS 4" x 5-1/4".
  • 1" x 4" strip of Take a Bow DSP.
  • Sentiment from the Merriest Trees set inked in Real Red ink.

Thank you for stopping by and helping me stay motivated to work on my Christmas cards.  I am hoping this will make my December more joyful and less stressful!

DIY Calendar Blog Hop: February

Mini Calendar Blog Hop Banner

Welcome Friends to the DIY Calendar Blog Hop.  On the first day of the month we share a calendar page.  The calendar we are using is a template created by the organizer of this blog hop, Anne aka the Maui Stamper.  The calendar measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and is a fun size to work with.   If you are interested in purchasing a template please contact Anne.

SendingLove_Calendar

I used the Sending Love stamp set and dies for the mailbox image and the envelope and the bird is from the Country Birdhouse bundle.  The images were colored using Stampin' Blends in Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight.   The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set.

SendingLove_CalendarHop_side

The little heart on the envelope was cut using the Crafting With You die.  The paper used for the heart is from the Festive Glimmer Pack, an Online Exclusive.  Love that little bit of shine.
