Hearts & Hugs and Layers of Beauty
May 10, 2024
Ready for another Festive Friday challenge? What is the Festive Friday challenge? The Festive Friday challenge is a bi-weekly challenge that is inspired by a holiday/festivity. An Inspo list of 10 items is created using the festivity as its inspiration. To play in the challenge you need to use 3 items from the Inspo list on your project and enter it in the Festive Friday gallery. We love seeing what you choose from the Inspo list and look forward to seeing what you create.
I don't have any brothers. I have 2 older sisters. If I had a brother I would make this card for them.
I used from the Inspo List-black, red, and textured background.
- Basic Black CS card base-4-1/4" x 11"
- Basic White CS layer-4-1/8" x 5-3/8" embossed with Dotted Circles 3D Embossing folder. The Dotted Circles 3D folder is big-6" x 8-1/2"!
Sentiment from the Layers of Beauty stamp set curved (thanks to it being a photopolymer set) to fit around the curve of the Dotted 3D Embossing Folder circle.
- Basic Black CS circle cut using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. There are 12 Spotlight on Nature dies, all are circles with an embossed or cut out design around the edge.
- The adorable mouse from the Hearts & Hugs stamp set colored using Smoky Slate, Real Red, and Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends.
- Real Red hearts cut using the Hearts & Hugs dies.
- Sentiment from the Hearts & Hugs stamp set
- Real Red CS hearts cut with the Hearts & Hugs dies.
Be sure to check out how the rest of the Festive Friday Design team was inspired by the Inspo List.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to add your project to the Festive Friday gallery,
So adorable, love that embossing folder and thanks for reminding me how easy it is to adjust those photopolymer stamps to fit a curvy spot!

Sharon, such a fabulous image and I love how you shaped the sentiment to go around the circle. So many wonderful details on this wonderful CAS card
