Friends for Life Beach Day

It is Thursday and the 4th of July! If you are in the United States, Happy Independence Day! Since it is Thursday it also means it is time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge.

During the month of July, the challenge does something different we CASE the Catalog. A sample is chosen from the catalog and we need to CASE something about the sample. We can case the layout, the colors, the stamps chosen etc.

This is the card we are CASEing. I decided to CASE the layout and also the watercolor wash background.

Sentiment from the Beach Day stamp set inked in Shaded Spruce ink. The sentiment was inked in 2 stages to mimic the inspiration project.
Adhere sentiment to the DSP.
3 leaves from the Friends For Life bundle inked in Shaded Spruce on Granny Apple Green CS
Leaves were die cut using the Friends For Life dies.
Attach 2 leaf sprigs to the Nested Essential label with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals
Cut some leaves from the 3rd sprig to add on to the 2 on the label.
Stamp hearts in Melon Mambo ink on Pretty In Pink CS
Die cut hearts using the Friends for Life dies
Adhere them to the card front using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals
Attach the Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to the leaves and card
