Winterly Tree Tops & the Leaf Collection
September 05, 2024
It is Thursday and time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge. This week it is a color challenge.
I think this is a tough one. Primarily because Moody Mauve and Soft Sea Foam are not colors I use very often. This is one of the reasons I think it is valuable to participate in challenges like Create with Stamping Friends, you are "challenged" to use colors and layouts that are outside of your comfort zone.
- Pebbled Path CS card base 4-1/4" x 11'
- Moody Mauve CS layer 4" x 5-1/4"
- Soft Sea Foam CS layer 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
- Soft Sea Foam layer stamped with the Leaf Collection stamp in Soft Sea Foam ink
- Pebbled Path CS tag created using the Merriest Trees Dies
- Soft Sea Foam reinforced hole created using the Merriest Trees dies
- Silver & White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon tied with white Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack
- Winterly Trees stamp set (debuting in the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog on September 4th) image inked in Pebbled Path on Basic White CS
- Bird & branch image colored using Soft Sea Foam and Moody Mauve Stampin' Blends and cut out using the Winterly Tree tops dies (buy the bundle and save 10%)
- Sentiment from the Winterly Tree Tops set embossed in White Embossing Powder (I placed a post it note over the bottom part of the sentiment to omit the "always" and then inked with Versamark ink. Remove the post it before stamping. )
- Berries were given a twinkle using Wink of Stella
- Basic White CS layer 4" x 5-1/4"
- Moody Mauve CS layer 1" x 4"
- Soft Sea Foam CS stamped with the Leaf Collection stamp with Soft Sea Foam ink 7/8" x 4"
- Winterly Tree Tops image inked with Pebbled Path ink on Basic White CS
- Image colored using Soft Sea Foam and Moody Mauve Stampin' Blends
- Berries twinkled with Wink of Stella
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the Create with Stamping Friends design team made for the challenge,
Classy looking card. Love it.
