Autumn Leaves
October 03, 2024
It is Thursday which means it is time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge. This week we have. a Color Challenge.
I decided to blend these colors with Blending Brushes. This is what I came up with.
- Early Espresso CS card base 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2".
- Very Vanilla CS layer 4" x 5-1/4".
- Country Woods DSP 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".
- Sentiment from the Friends for Life stamp set inked with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla CS.
- Sentiment punched with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch.
- Leaves cut using the Autumn Leaves dies and the More Than Autumn dies.
- Flicked Early Espresso ink with a wet Water Painter on the leaves.
- Brushed on Wink of Stella to the leaves.
- Layer the Very Vanilla layer on to the card base.
- Layer the DSP on the Very Vanilla.
- Attach the hexagon punch to the DSP layer. Place adhesive in the middle of the hexagon to allow the leaves to be tucked under the hexagon.
- Arrange the leaves around the hexagon.
- Attach a few Opal Rounds from the Opal Rounds Assortment.
- Very Vanilla CS layer 4" x 5-1/4".
- Country Woods strip 3/4" x 4"
- Couple of blended leaves
Thank you for stopping by. Be sure to check out what the rest of the Create with Stamping Friends made for this color challenge.
Oh Sharon, I love your card! I'm not good at ink blending (yours is beautiful!) so I'm going to have to look for DSP that has something similar for my card. Thank you for sharing your creative talent.
Aloha,
Camille
