Terrific Toadstool and the Toadstool Garden DSP

It is Thursday and time for a new Create with Stamping Friends Challenge.  This week it is a sketch challenge.

This week I am using the Terrific Toadstools bundle and the Toadstool Gardens DSP for all my projects.  It took me a bit to figure out how I was going to use the featured products with the sketch.

I used 3 different patterns from the Toadstool Gardens DSP.  This paper is so bright and cheerful and it is a Sale-A-Bration gift choice.  The DSP is 6" x 6" and there are 6 sheets of each of the 6 designs.  This  DSP definitely caught my eye and went on my order when I saw it.  It also coordinates with the Terrific Toadstool bundle in the Mini Catalog.

Isn't it fun seeing 3 different patterns of the DSP on one card?  In retrospect i should have made the diagonal strips larger and further apart.  If I had done that it would have looked more like the sketch intended.

All the toadstools/mushrooms and the snail were fussy cut from the DSP.  The shapes are pretty easy to cut out so this wasn't very difficult to do.  Around the mushrooms I also added some sequins from the Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins (another fun Sale-A-Bration choice).   The sentiment was inked in Early Espresso ink.

Inside I added a Basic White CS layer.  I had these strips of DSP so I used both of them to dress up the inside of the card.  I will  stamp an inside sentiment when I am ready to send out the card.  Love the "poppin' up " sentiment as it can be used for all kinds of situations.
