Welcome Friends to the DIY Calendar Blog Hop.  On the first day of the month we share a calendar page.  The calendar we are using is a template created by the organizer of this blog hop, Anne aka the Maui Stamper.  The calendar measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and is a fun size to work with.   If you are interested in purchasing a template please contact Anne.

I used the Sending Love stamp set and dies for the mailbox image and the envelope and the bird is from the Country Birdhouse bundle.  The images were colored using Stampin' Blends in Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight.   The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set.  

The little heart on the envelope was cut using the Crafting With You die.  The paper used for the heart is from the Festive Glimmer Pack, an Online Exclusive.  Love that little bit of shine.
