Winterly Tree Tops Love & Joy

It is the 25th of the month which means it is time for a Christmas card!  Yes, a Christmas card.  This past December I was scrambling trying to get my Christmas cards made and sent before we left for the holidays.  It was not fun and not how I wanted to feel so I decided to make and post a Christmas card on the 24th or 25th of each month and also make a few extras.  I want to be better prepared and more joyful.

WinterlyTreeTops_Feb

  • Garden Green CS card base 4-1/4" x 11".
  • Cherry Cobbler CS layer 4" x 5-1/4".
  • Take a Bow DSP layer 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" .
  • Basic White CS cut using the Everyday Arches Dies (Online Exclusive).
  • Winterly Tree Tops stamp set garland and birds images.  Images colored using Balmy Blue, Cherry Cobbler, Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie  Stampin' Blends Markers.
  • Sentiment inked in Garden Green ink.

WinterlyTreeTops_close

Here's a little fun tip.  All the berries were brushed with Wink of Stella for a little bit of sparkle.  To create the shine and a little dimension I covered the berries with Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  The glue will need to dry and when they are dry you will have sparkly shiny berries.

Thanks for stopping by and hope these posts will help you get your Christmas cards started and worked on!

Stampers Dozen Blog Hop...Continuing the Sale-A-Bration

Welcome to the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!  We are a group of Stampin' Up!® demonstrator who  hop together on the 14th of every month.  This month we are continuing the Sale-A-Bration!  Our projects this month center around the free with qualifying purchase Sale-A-Bration gifts.  There was a second drop of Sale-A-Bration gifts earlier this month, even more reason to Sale-A-Brate!

SpringCorners_PickASeason_Boxes

If you look closely there are a lot of Sale-A-Bration products used on my projects and one (the sentiment) from an Online Exclusive,  Spring Corners.

SpringCorners_PickASeason_BloomBox

This is the Bloom Impressions DSP 12" x 12" (Sale-A-Bration).  The Shy Shamrock label was cut using the Grow With Love Dies.  The tree is from the Pick A Season stamp set with sequins from the Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins, another Sale-A-Bration choice.  The butterfly is from the Brushed Brass Butterflies.  This is from the 2nd release of Sale-A-Bration and you need to use a different order number than what is shown in the Annual Catalog.  The order number during Sale-A-Bration is- 168091.  The ribbon is the Shy Shamrock 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.

The box is made by cutting 2 envelopes from the Grow With Love dies.  Trim the side tabs to measure 3/4".

GrowWithLove_box

Adhere one set of tabs over the other forming a box.

GrowWithLove_box_side

Close up the bottom.  The flaps will not totally overlap each other.  Apply adhesive to the edge of one flap.

GrowWithLove_Box_bottom

SpringCorners_PickASeason_BoxTic

The same basic ingredient were used to make this box except it was  made with the Fruit Salad  6" x 6" DSP (Sale-A-Bration).   The ribbon is the Daffodil Delight 1/8" Satin Ribbon (2025 Jan-April Mini Catalog).  Found these Fruit Adventure Tic Tacs that coordinate so well with the Fruit Salad DSP and fit nicely in the box.

SpringCorners_PickASeason_Box (1)

The same basic ingredients were used to make this box except it was made using the Toadstool Garden 6" x 6" DSP (Sale-A-Bration).  The ribbon is the Peach Pie Bordered Ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by and now it is time to hop on over to check out the rest of the hop!

DIY Calendar Blog Hop: February

Mini Calendar Blog Hop Banner

Welcome Friends to the DIY Calendar Blog Hop.  On the first day of the month we share a calendar page.  The calendar we are using is a template created by the organizer of this blog hop, Anne aka the Maui Stamper.  The calendar measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and is a fun size to work with.   If you are interested in purchasing a template please contact Anne.

SendingLove_Calendar

I used the Sending Love stamp set and dies for the mailbox image and the envelope and the bird is from the Country Birdhouse bundle.  The images were colored using Stampin' Blends in Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight.   The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set.

SendingLove_CalendarHop_side

The little heart on the envelope was cut using the Crafting With You die.  The paper used for the heart is from the Festive Glimmer Pack, an Online Exclusive.  Love that little bit of shine.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure check out all the stops on the hop!
