DIY Calendar Blog Hop: March 2025
March 01, 2025
Welcome to the DIY Calendar Blog Hop! On the first day of the month we share the calendar we designed using the template created by Anne Matasci aka the Maui Stamper. We hope you will enjoy the hop and all the different ideas .
What does the month of March mean to you? I think of March as the time the weather really begins to change. The days are a little longer and hopefully a little warmer. It is also the time that you start to see little bursts of color like crocuses, some early bulbs and Forsythia. Forsythia is an early bloomer and provide a big burst of yellow. The flowers appear before the leaves and it usually a pretty showy display.
My forsythia has leaves and flowers, it is a special hybrid. I used the Delightful Wishes bundle (2025 January-April Mini Catalog). This is a lovely Two-Step stamp set. I used Daffodil Delight for the outline image and Lemon Lolly for the bold image. I brushed the flowers with Wink of Stella to ad a little more sparkle. The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green. The branch is a die from the Delightful Wishes dies and was cut in Early Espresso CS. I also added a sweet little bee from the Tiny Bee Trinkets (2025 Jan-April Mini Catalog).
Be sure to check out all the stops on the hop. If you want to create your own calendar, be sure to contact Anne.
Be on the lookout for Forsythia where you live!
