Week in Review
March 23, 2025
Time to look back on the past week and gather together the different projects that were shared here on the blog and also on social media. This past week the focus was on the Everyday Arches, Arched Wishes and the Botanical Textures Suite Collection.
Monday was St Patrick's Day and I hope you found your pot of gold. If not here's one for you.
I used the Everyday Arches to create the rainbow. The pot of gold was made with circle dies and punches and a tiny heart die for the four leaf clover. The sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamp set.
In the March 2025 Online Exclusive release, a companion set to the Everyday Arches bundle was released. The Arched Wishes stamp set is a fun birthday set. It has 3 sentiments, 2 that coordinate with the Everyday Arches dies and 6 images. Love this big cupcake and candle! The color combination of Night of Navy, Flirty Flamingo, and Lemon Lime Twist was inspired by some striped curtains.
This card was made for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. It was posted here on the blog on the 14th.
The Create with Stamping Friends challenge was a sketch. It seemed to be a perfect one to use some of the components of the Botanical Textures Suite Collection.
You can read more about the challenge and the project HERE.
Here's a quick or what I call a Fast Friday project. The Botanical Textures DSP has this lovely leaf pattern in black and white. I colored the leaves in Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends. The DSP was cut 3-3/8" x 4-3/4" and once it was colored cut down to 3 strips 1-1/8" x 4-3/4". The Basic Black CS is 3-3/4" x 5". The only thing to keep in mind is to be to arrange the strips so the pattern lines up.
That pretty much sums up the week. Thank you for stopping by and I hope this coming week is a wonderful one for you!
