Week in Review...Thankful Garden
March 09, 2025
Time to review the past week. This past week the focus has been on the Thankful Garden bundle and Lovely Garden DSP. Both of these products are part of the larger Lovely Garden Suite Collection. Some of these projects were previously posted here on the blog and others posted on social media primarily Facebook.
It is difficult to see but the Basic Black CS layer was embossed using the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing folder. The flower was colored using the Thankful Garden Masks (part of the Thankful Garden bundle) and Blending Brushes in the colors of Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Pool Party and Lost Lagoon. The centers of the flowers are the Pretty in Pink 2024-26 In Color Shimmer Gems. I made this for a team color challenge and yes it was a challenge to use all those colors.
I posted this card on the blog HERE. The Lovely Garden DSP is so pretty. This is my favorite piece from the pack, at least for today. Always love a good floral and stripes together.
On this card I used the Thankful Garden masks in the colors Pool Party, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Granny Apple Green. I love these colors together and will have to remember to use them again. The Pool Party gingham is part of the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty DSP. Gingham is another of my favorites and I vote to have them in a lot more colors! The centers of the flowers are from the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems. The ribbon is the Silver & White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon.
I try and remember to decorate the inside of the card too. A strip of DSP, a few dies cuts goes a long way of prettying up the inside of the card.
This card was created for the Create with Stamping Friends Challenge #CSF859. You can see details HERE.
Played a little with different color combinations and the Thankful Garden bundle and masks.
Now we are all caught up! What was your favorite from the past week? If you are on Facebook please check out my Facebook page, As the Ink Dries and follow me .
ALL of these cards are stunning! Thanks for sharing.
