Rustic Centerpiece and the Sunflower Folder
July 03, 2025
It is Thursday and time for a new Create with Stamping Friends challenge. This month we are "case-ing" the catalog. You can case the colors, the layout, the technique, really just about anything. Here's the card we are Case-ing.
I do love this color combination and the look of the blocks behind the image. I started playing around and finally landed on this.
I used 3 items from the July Online Exclusives-Rustic Centerpiece, Sunflower 3D Embossing folder, and the Low Profile Sparkle Dots.
- Thick Basic White CS card base 4-1/4" x 11".
- Lost Lagoon CS layer.
- Embossed Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, and Summer Splash CS with the Sunflower 3D folder.
- Cut strips of the embossed colors and arranged them on the Lost Lagoon CS layer. I tried to keep the design lined up on the different strips.
- Stamped the sunflower image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White CS.
- Colored the image using Lemon Lolly, Real Red, Summer Splash, Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends.
- I fussy cut the image out. I don't mind fussy cutting but this one did take a little patience.
- The sentiment is from the Perfectly Pears stamp set. I do like this font a lot.
- The tag is from the Layers of Beauty dies.
- Love the Low Profile Sparkle Dots. It added just a little more yellow to the card.
If you would like to see another card from the Rustic Centerpiece stamp set you can go here. I also posted another card on my Facebook page using the Rustic Centerpiece set. Yes, I like this one a lot.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the Create with Stamping Friends design team created. Thanks for stopping by.
Did you ink the embossing folder before you actually embossed the paper? or inked the paper after you embossed it? if the folder , how did you clean the folder? I would like to try this card. Thank you in advance.
