Baby Cards and Gifts

Bonanza Buddies Birthday

I couldn't resist the Bonanza Buddies suite in the JJ 2020 Mini Catalog (January-June Mini Catalog).  We do have a bunch of new little ones in our family which was my rationale for buying it but if I am being honest, I probably would have bought it just cause I thought it was so cute.

This card was made for the Create with Connie & Mary Challenge #CCMC602.

Love this fun sketch!  It allowed me to play with the fun presents and balloon stamps and the Birthday Bonanza DSP.  Except for the Stitched So Sweetly dies (White scalloped rectangle) everything else is from the Birthday Bonanza suite.

Here's the inside of the card.  The sentiment is also from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set.

Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop...Babies!

Blog hop header

Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop!  This month it is all about Babies.  It has been a while since I had a baby in the house so we were all very excited to welcome Skye.  Skye is my great nephew and in this picture he is 7 months old.

Something for Baby Skye frame

Isn't he just adorable?  I just love his hat.  To decorate his frame I cut a bunch of balloons based on the  colors that were in his shirt.  I also added a bunch of stars, cause after all he is one.

I cut off the bottom of the onesie to make the shirt.  Don't you just love a polka dot tie?

I stamped the little dots from the Calling All Heroes stamp set onto Real Red card stock.  I wanted his name to stand out a little more so I cut the letters out twice and layered them so they were thicker.  This was a lot of fun to create.

Next on the hop is France Matin.  I know she has something adorable to share with you!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!  Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Recently my Stampin' Up! group (Stamp Ladies) had a card swap with the theme, Congratulations.   There was a fun mix of cards from Graduation to wedding to new baby. oday's card was made by Kerri Gennett and I thought her card would be perfect one to share with you today especially for the new mom.

Something for Baby

I am a pushover for a stamp set that has matching framelits.  The thought of not having to fussy cut just makes me happy.  That is why it was so strange for me to hesitate in purchasing the Something for Baby stamp set and matching Baby's First Framelits.  Thankfully, I came to my senses quickly and this adorable set and framelits came to live with me in my craft room.

Hey! Something for Baby

This onesie is so cute and it  helped to seal the deal for me.   I love a bow tie on little ones so I had to add one here.  The set comes with a regular tie so I stamped it twice and used the knot ends to make a bow tie.  Check out that cool Coastal Cabana sequin!

Do you see the strip of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper?  I  colored it by sponging on some Coastal Cabana ink.  So fun!

It's a Boy Center Stair Step card

So, have you made your own Center Stair Step card? I posted a tutorial yesterday if you want to  make one.  These cards are so fun to make especially with all the new stamps and coordinating framelits  in the new catalog.  I've been wanting  to use my   Something for Baby stamp set and Baby's First framelits aka a bundle and really it is perfect for this card.

This was so fun to make.  The hardest part was figuring out which of the fun images I wanted to use on the card.  I love the onesie and the little hanger!

I wasn't going to get this fun set and framelits since it does not look like I will be a grandmother anytime soon but we recently found out that my niece is pregnant so of course I  had to order it.  It really is adorable and I know I will make good use of it.

If you need any of the supplies I used to make this card just click on the image and it will take you to my online store.  I would really appreciate it.

Two by Two

We have a new baby in the family!  She was born a few weeks ago and of course she is beautiful and brilliant!  We have not gotten to see her up close and personal but hope to soon.   Just so there is no confusion she is my great (in so many ways) niece.

Here's the card I made.  I tried to avoid using too much pink since not everyone is a fan of the color.

Two by Two More Amore

Stamps: Two by Two (this is a single stamp on page 60 of the main catalog)

Big Shot: Scallop Squares Duo Bigz die, Perfect Polka Dot folder

I also made a little scrapbook which I will share with you soon.  I have another version of this card that I am posting to my facebook page.    Hop on over and check it out!
