Stamp Set A Happy Hooray

Another A Happy Hooray card

There are so many samples in the catalog that I want to make. Here's another A Happy Hooray card which was inspired by the journal on page 145.  When Laurie came over to stamp with me we  did not have all of the supplies to CASE this card so we came up with our own version which was heavily influenced by the sample.

Are you wondering what color the card base  is?  Would you believe Lost Lagoon?  We cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum and layered it over the Lost Lagoon card.  Don't you  love the soft color it created?

Are you wondering how I attached the vellum to the card base?  I used glue dots and positioned them behind the gold foil hearts.  The vellum is securely on the card and you cannot see the adhesive.  Love that!

Laurie's A Happy Hooray

Today I have another CASED card.  This one was created by one of my downline, Laurie Gaudette.  She posted this card to our team's Facebook group and I knew I needed to make one.  We planned a stamp date and she brought A Happy Hooray stamp set with her so I could make the card.

Isn't it a beauty of a card?   I think it really shows off the new In Colors. Did you recognize the Label Bracket punch?  Laurie suggsted that I turn it and position it so the stripes ran vertically.  It is amazing how just that little adjustment changed the look of the punch.
