Stamp Set Falling Leaves

Season of Friendship

I was looking through my stamp sets and realized that I had not inked up this set in a long time.  The Season of Friendship set is  great to use year round.  There are images to fit any season making it very versatile.   This inspired me to gather stamp sets, Designer Series paper, card stock, embellishments that had a Fall feel to them and put them in one basket.  This is my Fall/Thanksgiving inspiration basket and I hope it will me when I sit down to stamp.

Season of Friendship fallAnother thing I realized is that I have not used the color Cajun Craze in a long time or River Rock so they are the colors I used as my base colors for this card.  Here are the other supplies I used.

Stamps: Season of  Friendship and Falling Leaves
Ink: Cajun Craze, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Paper: Very Vanilla, River Rock, Cajun Craze
Ribbon: Old Olive grosgrain ribbon

Can you believe it I have posted 12 days in a row!  Thanks for coming by and let me know if you have any questions or need some Fall crafting supplies!

Gently Falling

Once again I am really late in posting for the day.  It still counts  even though it is getting late!  Today's card was inspired by a card I saw in Stampin' Success.  Stampin' Success is monthly publication Stampin' Up! sends out to their demonstrators and it has lots of ideas and inspiration.   The article was about different ways to use ruffling on cards, bags, and scrapbook pages.  It is a great way to use those leftover strips of cardstock and Designer Series paper (DSP).

Gently falling newsprint

This was my first attempt at doing this and as you can see my ruffles are not even.  There is definitely room for improvement!

Here's what I used:

Stamps:  Gently Falling and Falling Leaves
Ink: Early Espresso. Pool Party, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Riding Hood Red
Paper: More Mustard, Cajun Craze, First Edition Specialty DSP, Spice Cake DSP
Big Shot: Leaves #2
Punches: Scallop Edge Border
Embellishments: Antique Brads

Thanks for checking in with me!  I will be back tomorrow and remember you only have until November 11th to sign up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and get a free Big Shot!

Give Thanks

I have never been a morning person and  love to stay up late.  Since we moved  last December that has slowly been changing, now I am up way too early and you know I kind of like it.  Here's what made me thankful that I was up and about  this morning.

Morning 10-26The sky was gorgeous with that special morning light.  The  leaves are changing colors, falling, and the air has a definite crispness about it.  It is definitely Fall.

Falling Leaves

Here's a card I made for a couple of swaps last month.  I realize I am a little obsessed with this kind of layout.  I like things all lined up and return to this concept  a lot.  The color combination is a little out there and another demo said to me she would never have  put these colors together.  Hmmm, is that good thing?  Not sure,  but I am sticking with it and you let me know what you think.
