The Curvy Keepsake thinlit die in the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog is one amazing  die.  Just do a search and you will find all kinds of incredible ideas  this die has inspired.  It is most impressive.  My little share today is just a sweet little box and I hope you like it.

Isn't this a great background?  It is the Hardwood stamp and it is so handsome, perfect for a masculine card.

I just cannot stop using this sweet set, For the Birds.   It is an easy one to color and I think the images are adorable.   I am working on using Marina Mist more.  Not sure what it is but it is a color I tend to avoid.  Strange right?  When I do use it I like but it isn't a color I reach for very often.

You want to know what we did yesterday?   My husband planned a secret overnight trip.  I kind of figured out where we were going but I was stumped as to what we were going to do.  It finally came to me,   Friday the 6th  was the 30th anniversary of our 1st date!  If you are trying to figure it out we started dating when I was 5 (NOT!).    He planned a little trip so we can re-visit our first date. Kind of sweet huh?

 

I was cleaning up my craft table and found a stash of DSP pockets.  These must have been leftover from when I made this card.    I still had my cute For the Birds set out and I think they are just made for each other.

I did seperate the images and the sentiments and the set is  more versatile than ever!

This sweet stamp set, For the Birds was one of the first sets  I knew I had to have.   Those little birds and all those sayings just spoke to me.   I felt like I needed a set that was fun and easy to color and could be used for lots of different occasions.  Back in the day that set was Nice and Easy Notes and more recently Easy Events and this year I am choosing For the Birds.   I am still trying to decide if I want to trim the sentiments  and have them seperate from the image.  What do you think?
