It is hard to believe that there is just  3 weeks left to receive free goodies from Sale-A-Bration!  I will definitely miss the exclusive products available only during Sale-A-Bration.    Here's a quick card using some of my favorites from this year's SAB products.

It is hard to believe that I did not use any TIEF(textured impressions embossing folder) on this card.  Instead I did a little embossing using the Simply Scored Diagonal plate(SSDP).  Nice to have more options!

Can you believe this was the first time I inked up the postage stamp image from the Fresh Vintage stamp set?! I remember when I first saw the set thinking how much fun it was going to be layering and punching out that image.   Anyway, I made 2 cards using the same layout in different colors.  I am going to share the other color combination on my Facebook page.  

Here's what I used to make this card.

Stamps: Fresh Vintage, Heard from the Heart
Ink: Black Stazon
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Gray, Black, Brights Patterns DSP
Big Shot: Framed Tulip TIEF, Perfect Polka Dot TIEF, Beautiful Wings Embosslit
Punches: Postage Stamp , 1 " Square punch ( this is a carryover item from the Holiday mini catalog 124094.  I know because I checked to make sure)
Extras: Red Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones 

Here's a quick recap on how to get both the polka dots and the tulip frame texture on the same project.  First run your paper in the Perfect Polka Dot TIEF  through the Big Shot on Tab 1.  Next put the paper in the Framed Tulip TIEF and run it through the Big Shot on No Tab.  The dots will smash down some but they are still visible.  It really is a fun look.  Give it a try and let me know how it works for you!  Go check out my Facebook page for another take on this card and let me know which one you like better.

Have I already told you how much I love the Fresh Vintage stamp set and the Everyday Enchantment DSP?  Well if I haven't, I have now.  This paper is probably one of my all time favorite papers.  I use it a lot and it is a good thing I know how to get more for FREE!  Yes, it is a Sale-A-Bration choice and I have certainly been choosing it.  

Isn't it just yummy with the Fresh Vintage stamp set?  I also used the Labels Collection Framelits for the big label and also the little label.  

I usually use the Round Tab punch but the little label framelit is so cute and now all the labels coordinate.

This is the what the inside card looks like.  I thought this sentiment from the Word Play set really worked well with the Dream from the Loving Thoughts set.

Are you wondering where I used the Blender pen?  I inked up the  image in Pear Pizzaz ink and then used the blender pen to take off the ink from the flowers.   I then use the markers to color in the flowers.   It is a little fussy but I find it easier to do this then to use markers to color in the whole image.  

In a little bit some of the women from my group will be coming over to do a Shoebox swap.  This means everyone brings a project for everyone else to make.  I cannot wait to see what everybody brings for us to make.  It is always so fun to spend time together stamping, sharing and this time a salad bar too!  Have a fabulous Saturday!

 

One of my favorite sets from Sale-A-Bration is Fresh Vintage.  In fact the whole collection from the Fresh Vintage stamp set to the Everyday Enchantment DSP to the Ribbon and Brad pack are simply delicious!  Since these are all Sale-A-Bration products you can get them FREE with a qualifying order.  Don't you just love that?  

Marcia Brixey incorporated all of the 3 products (Fresh Vintage, DSP, brads and ribbon) on her lovely card.  She also used the Hearts and Labels Collection Framelits dies.  Really pretty right?

Here Laurie Gaudette used the floral image from the Fresh Vintage set to make a beautiful background.   Don't you love all the different edges?   She used the new Adorning Accents Edgelits and the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.   Laurie also incorporated the Hearts and Labels collection Framelits dies, WOW!

Looking at  these swap cards and the others I have to share with you makes me want to stamp!  I finally uncovered the top of my craft table.  It took a while and now I can actually work on it again.  I know, what a concept!   I am telling you this beacuase one of the 12 things I am going to do this month is send 12 cards for no particular reason.  My Valentine's cards, birthday cards do not count.  It is kind of like the sweet people I know who gave me cards at Leadership even though I had nothing to give them in return. You know who you are and your cards are in the mail.   Thank you for being so kind and adding to my fun at Leadership.
