Stamp Set Triple Treat Flower

Triple Treat Flower Party Continues

I was preparing for a Card class and wanted to use the Triple Treat Flower stamp in one of the projects.   I stamped, punched, and layered a bunch of flowers in one of my favorite color combinations.  I cut a piece of DSP from the In Colors Patterns pack,  took out a roll of white Organza ribbon, and of course some rhinestones.

Here's the first card I made.

Variation 2 triple treat

Pretty simple layout and I thought it would work but how about if I moved around the flowers and grouped them together?  Something like this.

Variation 3 triple treat

I liked this one too, maybe even a little more than the first layout.  Hmmm, I made another card using a similar layout to the first card and I am posting it on my Facebook  page.  You see another item on my 12 in 12 list for February is to post to my As the Ink Dries Facebook page.  Now I can cross off another item on my list!    How am I doing on my 12 in 12 for February?  I only have 3 more items left, prettty good huh?  The problem is that the 3 items are pretty BIG items which could be why they are still on the list.

Have a wonderful day!

Late to the Triple Treat Flower Party

Yes, it is true I just got the a la carte stamp, Triple Treat Flower.   I am not sure why it has taken me so long to join the party.    It is a very versatile little stamp that coordinates with 3 different punches.   Kind of a no brainer for a punch lover.  Maybe it was seeing it as a Sale-A-Bration choice and knowing I could get it FREE that finally did the trick.   All I know is I am so happy it I have it.  Here's the first card I made with it.

A closeup look at how the punches layer.   The large flower can be cut out with the Fancy Flower punch.  In this sample I just layered the 2 other punches on the stamped image.    I have another sample to show you tomorrow using the same supplies.  It is always fun to see the different looks you can get using the same supplies and stamps.   Hope to stamp with you soon!
