Stamp Set Up, Up & Away

Rain or Shine the Sky's the Limit

Today was a crazy windy day and  is the inspiration behind the card I am sharing with you. While I was out walking I was thinking about the Rain or Shine stamp set and all those cute umbrellas.  What a sight it would be to see them blowing around in the wind.

Pretty quick and simple card.  I think that the Rain or Shine set pairs perfectly with the Up, Up and Away set.   I used the combination in a previous post HERE.    Just think if you purchase both sets you will be pretty close to earning a FREE Sale-A-Bration choice!

Have a wonderfully creative day and hope to stamp with you soon!

Out On a Limb with the Owl Punch

I have not played with the Owl Builder punch in a while.  I decided I needed to pull it out after seeing this blog post.  I knew that I could recreate what she had done using my Stampin Up! products.

Owl bookmark card

I punched the owl and then cut around it leaving about 1/4"around the owl.  I attached the owl to the layer just around the head area.

I cut a slit along the branch and slipped the the owl into the slit.

The card is held closed by the cute 1 1/4" scallop punch.

Up, Up, and Away Congratulations

The #1 thing on my list today was to stamp some cards to congratulate the demonstrators on my team who recruited someone.   In case you have not heard Stampin' Up is offering a FREE Big Shot when you sign up to become a demonstrator.  Sound good?  You bet but you only have until November 11th to take advantage of this great opportunity,  If  you want more information go here or contact me.  Anyway  back to my mission for the day.    Here's what I came up with.

Oct congratsThere was fussy cutting involved and there were moments I questioned my decision but I like how it turned out and I think they will too!  I have more to do so I better get back to it.  Thanks for checking in and think about if this might be the right time for you to join in the fun and become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Up, Up and Away!

I can't remember for sure if I shared this card or not so if I have please play along with me!  I love  cards that look complicated and really are not.  Now that we have the Simply Scored this card got even easier.  One of the things I really like about the Simply Scored is the little markers.   These little things make it so easy to remember where you need to score.
